These are the pages of the Carbondale In Florida reunion, where former and current Carbondale (Pennsylvania) area residents get together to socialize. Current and past residents from surrounding areas (e.g., Simpson, Jermyn, etc.) are also welcome to attend.

2014 Reunion
The Carbondale Reunion in Florida is being planned for March 2014. The reunion will be held on the East Coast of Florida (between Jacksonville and Miami). In order to make the necessary arrangements, we need to

1. Recruit people to help in the organization
2. Firm up the location (by December 2013)
3. Firm up the number of attendees (by December 2013)
4. Work out the menu
5. Find entertainment (DJ, band, etc.)

The location (hotel where the event will be held) and number of attendees will define the cost. We want to keep the cost down to no more than $40 per person.

I am currently in the Panhandle of Florida so I don't know which East Coast location would be the favorite of attendees. I am also suggesting that Carbondaleans from anywhere be invited (not just those residing in Florida). Please contact me if you are interested in helping.

2010 Reunion
The 2010 Carbondale in Florida reunion was held on Saturday, March 6, 2010, at the Ramada Inn in St. Petersburg, Florida. Pictures from the event are here.

2007 Reunion
The 2007 Carbondale in Florida reunion was hosted by Val and Tom Jablonowski and was held on Saturday March 24, 2007 in Daytona Beach, Florida at the Plaza Resort & Spa. The mayor of Carbondale, Justin Taylor, and a group from Carbondale attended, along with others from his staff, and he hosted a reception before dinner.Click here for more information, a list of attendees, and pictures of the 2007 event.

2006 Reunion
The 2006 Carbondale in Florida ("Carbondale Days") reunion was hosted by Susie and Jerry Masler, and was held on Feb. 25, 2006 at the Best Western Hotel on Adamo Drive in Tampa, Florida. Thanks to Susie and Jerry for again hosting a great event.
